God delights in YOU!

" For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight. In love He predestined us to be adopted as His sons & daughters through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His pleasure and will." Ephesians 1:4-5

God led me to this much needed scripture today after I spent my morning wrestling with all my imperfections. The part that stuck out to me most was that I am His adopted daughter through Jesus in accordance with His pleasure and will. In accordance with His pleasure! Even with all my fleshly mistakes and imperfections starring me down I bring Him pleasure. Only Jesus could give me such access not just into heaven and not just freedom from my sins, but giving me access to be God's pleasure.
If you are feeling stuck today or overwhelmed by what is incomplete in you hold to the thought that through Christ you are pleasing to God. He is pleased with you, delighted in you, and satisfied with you.

"The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing." Zephaniah 3:17

"But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of him. For we are to God the aroma of Christ..." 2 Corinthians 2:14-15

"I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness." Jeremiah 31:3

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails." 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

God is patient with you, God is kind to you. He does not envy, He does not boast, He is not proud. God is not rude to you or self-seeking with you, He is not easily angered by you, He keeps no records of your wrongs. God does not delight in evil but He rejoices with the truth. He always protects you, He always trusts you, He always hopes in you, He always perseveres in your life. God never fails you.
